This is a list of my older, less actively maintained programs.

metapath

Current Release: Version 4.0.13
Development Version: 4.0.14-beta4
Project last updated: October 28, 2012

Once upon a time, metapath was created as an Explorer-like add-on for the handy freeware editor metapad. Meanwhile, metapath has become a universal file browser plugin, which can open files in existing windows of any application you like - also works perfectly with Notepad2.

Textview

Current Release: Version 6.0.12
Project last updated: May 06, 2004

The motivation for this project initiated in 1996 was to have a convenient way to browse the code samples on the Visual C++ 2.0 CD-ROMs, my immeasurable source of inspiration in Win32 programming, at that time.

Run95

Current Release: Version 2.0
Project last updated: September 30, 2012

This is a copy of the Windows 95 Run Dialog Box. The implementation as a standalone executable file has a great advantage over the original: you can create a shortcut on your desktop and assign a hotkey to it, and the Run Dialog Box is ready on the spot!

ntouch

Current Release: Version 2.0
Project last updated: March 18, 2013

This utility can be used to modify time stamps of files and directories. You can either run ntouch from the command line and specify the files to be modified as separate arguments (with wildcards), or you can add files and directories using drag & drop from Explorer.

dtouch

Current Release: Version 1.0
Project last updated: March 18, 2013

dtouch is the companion of ntouch to add or remove a specified time span to or from time stamps of files and directories. Note: to modify file and exif time stamps of digital camera pictures, I recommend jhead.
